KettlebrightPrivacy Policy — DIY Materials Estimator
This policy explains how the DIY Materials Estimator app for Android (“the app”) handles information. The app is published by Kettlebright (“we”, “us”), a studio operated by Tadas Žukauskas under individual activity (individuali veikla) in Lithuania, who is the data controller. Short version: the app does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal data. We have no servers for the app, no user accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting tools.
1. Data stored on your device
Your projects, calculations, shopping lists, prices and settings are saved only on your phone, in the app’s own storage. We cannot see or access them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
If you have turned on Android’s backup to your Google account, Android may include the app’s data in that backup. This is handled by Google under your Google account settings; we have no access to it.
2. Purchases (Pro)
The optional one-time Pro purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive your name, email, payment card or billing address. The app only asks Google Play whether Pro has been bought on your account and keeps that status on your phone so Pro works offline. Google’s handling of your payment is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
3. Things you choose to do
- Sharing a shopping list opens Android’s share menu; you choose the app it goes to. We do not see it.
- Contacting us opens your email app. If you email us, we receive your email address and your message and use them only to answer you. We keep support emails no longer than needed to help you, and delete them at the latest 12 months after our last exchange.
4. Permissions
The app asks for no special permissions. It uses Google Play’s billing service for purchases.
5. Children
The app is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
6. Your rights (EU/UK GDPR and similar laws)
Because we do not collect personal data through the app, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to see or delete your emails at hello@kettlebright.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in Lithuania: the State Data Protection Inspectorate, vdai.lrv.lt).
7. Changes
If the app starts to handle data differently, we will update this page and the effective date before that version is released.
